Fix headphone problems on Windows

Answers to the problems people hit with AirPods and other Bluetooth headphones on Windows, and a direct way to reach KikuTune support.

My headphones are connected, but there is no sound

Windows may keep another output active. Open KikuTune and verify the current audio output. Select your headphones or use Reconnect on the device page.

Battery levels are not showing

Battery reporting depends on the device and Bluetooth firmware. Supported AirPods and Beats models may show separate earbuds and case levels. Other devices may report one level or none.

Music sounds flat after a call

Another app may be using the headset microphone and forcing Windows into Hands-Free mode. Close the app using the microphone, disable that input when appropriate, or reconnect the device from KikuTune.

Equalizer changes are not audible

Confirm EQ is enabled, the intended output is active, and the preset is applied to that device. Some protected or exclusive audio paths can bypass system processing.

How do I export diagnostics?

In KikuTune Settings, turn on Collect logs and data, reproduce the problem, then choose Export Diagnostics. Export remains unavailable while optional collection is off. Exports are sanitized; review the file before sending it.
