KikuTune setup guide

Install KikuTune on a supported Windows PC, pair your headphones in Windows Bluetooth settings, then open KikuTune. Core device management works without the optional advanced driver; KikuTune marks features that require extra support.

Available controls depend on the device model, firmware, Bluetooth adapter, and Windows audio endpoint. AirPods, Beats, and other Bluetooth headphones do not all expose the same battery or noise-control data.

The connected Bluetooth device and the active Windows audio output are separate states. If audio plays elsewhere, select the intended output in KikuTune. Reconnect asks Windows to recover the existing pairing; it does not create a new pairing.

Create or select a preset on Sound, enable EQ, and verify the target output. Presets can remain local. Community publication is a separate, explicit action and requires an account.

Low latency mode reduces buffering where supported. It cannot remove Bluetooth radio interference or override codec and hardware limits. Disable it if your connection becomes less stable.

Community lets signed-in users publish, discover, like, and copy EQ presets. A copied preset becomes an editable local copy. Publication metadata may be screened and moderated under the Terms.

Optional diagnostics and reliability telemetry are off by default. KikuTune still keeps a small, bounded, sanitized local health log for reliability. Read the draft Privacy Policy for precise categories, retention, controls, and release-day terms.
